In an effort to energize learning, Cline has decided to incorporate STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) into Fine Arts Day activities to create a day of STEAM.
More than 800 students and 54 teachers partner with local businesses and community volunteers to explore activities geared to their age levels and interests. The students get an opportunity to tinker and learn in a creative environment.
STEAM day is a day devoted to encouraging students to push their limits and expose them to a variety of disciplines to which they may not otherwise have been exposed. Activities include building and launching paper rockets, simple circuitry, robotics, art, and animal science.
Our hope is to provide the context for students to explore, create and ‘connect the dots’ in a creative way.Principal Barry Clifford
